The Limerick Framework for Action was launched in Dublin, Ireland, on December 1, 2025. The hybrid event was attended by over 500 people in person and online from across the world. The Limerick Framework for Action is a global roadmap for advancing health promoting campuses, created through wide international participation surrounding the 2025 conference at the University of Limerick. Building on the vision of the Okanagan Charter, the framework offers practical guidance for higher education institutions to implement health promotion, track progress, and build partnerships, regardless of their context or resources. The framework sets out ten transformative actions that empower post-secondary institutions to deliver on the Okanagan Charter’s core calls. It helps campuses respond to current and future challenges and supports collective, system-wide action to strengthen wellbeing in higher education.
